The main topic of the course is leadership skills for a changing world. In 2023, we will focus on the following sub-topics:
- Inclusive leadership through Collaborative Storytelling
- Transformational leadership
- Driving sustainability through customer-oriented leadership
Location and time
The 3AMK Summer School consists of the independent pre-assignments and the participation to the intensive week. The program of the intensive week features short talks by university faculty members and practitioners as well as workshops and team work to engage with the theme’s topics.
The course will be organized online, and it will be executed in English

Forms of internationality
Master Summer School ”Leadership Skills for a Changing World” is an international intensive online course for Master´s degree students. Students from all over Europe come to this course.
Students workload
The extent of the course is 5 ECTS. The workload is approx. 135 hours: 80 hours for pre-assignments and 55 hours for the intensive week and presentation.

The course was assessed with the following criteria:
3 pre-assignments, each 20 % (i.e. 3 x 20%= 60 %) of the total course grade, grading 1-5/fail.
Study the pre-materials and accomplish the pre-assignments (individual work)
Group work, 40 % of the total course grade, grading 1-5/fail
Participate in the online sessions and team work during the intensive week
Participate actively in the team work during the course (group work)
Take part in creating the final presentation of the team (group work)

Communication: To communicate in a competent, clear and consistent manner both orally and in writing.

Alternative completion methods of implementation
According to degree regulations “All students are entitled to demonstrate their competence. The recognition and accreditation of prior competence is initiated by the students themselves. The competence is recognised and accredited by the teacher responsible for the module or study unit or another person designated by the director of the UAS unit. To achieve grade 5 (excellent) the student must be able to:
