Before enrolling to this study unit, you should have adequate competence of safety, security and risk management, which you can acquire for example by completing study unit HT00BN79/ HT00CC30 Basics of Corporate Safety, Secu-rity and Risk Management (10 cr) or TO00BS57 Basic Theory of Corporate Safety, Security and Risk Management (5 cr).

Teaching methods
This study unit is used to manage R&D work in innovation projects in Security and risk management related, either individual work life or Laurea innovation project, as specified between the student and R&D-project principal. All work in this study unit are in these projects.

The schedule and location will be agreed upon project-by-project.

Materials will be agreed upon project-by-project.
Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
Projects are in collaboration with work life and/or Laurea innovation projects.

Each project will be structured flexibly and as agreed between the student and the project principal.

Students workload
The scope, amount of work and credits will be agreed upon project-by-project. One credit is about 27 hours of project work.

Phases will be agreed upon project-by-project:
- planning (project agreement and plan)
- project work (guided by the project principal)
- reporting (project report and feedback from the project principal)
