The student is able to
- define and identify the structures of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems and explain the principles of their functioning
- describe the pathophysiological processes of the most common internal and inflammatory dis-eases
- explain the energy metabolism of muscles and its regulation during movement and rest
- describe the key effects of nutrition in energy metabolism
- reliably assess a client’s aerobic fitness and make use of the assessment results in promoting the client’s health.
