Osaamistavoitteet
The student is able to
- describe how value is created for the customers through service
- recognize the essence of Service Design thinking and methods
- plan, implement and evaluate a Service Design project using service design methods
- apply creative problem-solving and develop working methods individually and in teams
- foster entrepreneurship through service design
Toteutustapa
Intensive week followed by weekly full-day workshops featuring short lectures, litterature reviews prepared by student teams, teamwork, team guidance sessions, mentoring and interim checks with the client. The core of the study unit is a service design project carried out in teams.

The study unit starts with an intensive week from 24 to 28 September. Thereafter, workshops are held on Fridays.

Active participation in the workshops is essential. More than three absences will result in the student being removed from the study unit.

Assessment is based on the service design project results as well as the team's progress and teamwork during the project. Peer evaluation will also be used.
