Learning outcomes

The students will be able to
assess the effectiveness of services promoting health and well-being and the need for reform from the individual’s and society’s perspective
plan, implement and evaluate the multidisciplinary community and network of experts as part of an innovation project
use applicable research, project and service design methods in innovation projects
evaluate the results, process and outcome of an innovation project in relation to set goals
recognise the special features of entrepreneurship in socialand health care services and its significance in the service system
produce and describe a new product, service or business idea

Further information for students

Student must have passed the module I, module II and module III theoretical studies and practical placements. Module IV studies must be done or nearly done prior to participating this study unit.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Part 1: Clinical studies - medication calculations V 0,5cr ( Teacher Riikka Mulder ) - EXAM, must get 100% correct to pass.
Part 2: Clinical Studies - simulations 1cr (teachers: Riikka Mulder, Tanja Hakkarainen) PASS / FAIL, must attend all workshops and simulations
Part 3: Entrepreneurship 3 cr (teacher to be confirmed) - 1-5
Part 4: Service desig 5 c: Assignment 1 - 5 & project 1 - 5
Part 5: MAPA 0cr (teachers: Emma Tamankag and Carita Saarikivi) - PASS / FAIl
