Teaching methods
The course is connected with the R00378 Methodology Competence in Social Care Sector Customer Work - course and it contains both an LbD project and contact lessons on creative methods used in the Social Care Practice.

The creative methods learned during this course will be applied in a working life LbD project involving client encounters. The LbD project will also be integrated with the implementation R0378 Methodology Competence in Social Care Sector Customer Work.

Content and scheduling
During the course different creative and practical methods are introduced, such as music, visual arts, drama and movement and dance as well as how they are used in social services. Through the LbD project and the assignments the student gets a practical experience of the methods with clients, their importance and how they can be applied, adapted and implemented in social service settings.
Further information for students
The course requires 75% attendance. Missed classes will lower the final grading of the course.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Self and peer evaluation, teachers' feedback and evaluation. Feedback will also be given by the working life partner where the project was implemented. The final evaluation is based on the achievement of the course's competence aims.
