Teaching methods
The course consists of lectures, assignments (both oral and written) in English, dealing with current and past economic events.

Learning materials and recommended literature
The material consists of news articles, a couple of research papers, PLC annual reports and financial data plus material provided by the teacher. Required reading: Matt Haig: Brand Failures, which can be downloaded.
Content
Companies, company structures, company governance, reconstruction and finance, brands and branding, retailing & retail formats, money and debt, current economic situation. The student will learn terminology and vocabulary necessary to discuss these matters.

Oral presentation: Instead of a presentation, a video is acceptable

Oral presentation: Fail is due to no-show or shortness of presentation.
