    Teaching methods

    This course is a low-threshold, learning by development project (LbD)
    The main contents include:
    •Basics of LbD and project-working
    •Project planning, implementation, management, documentation and evaluation
    •Co-operation with the project partner
    •Meaning of evidence based social services in LbD, information retrieval
    •Communication and group working in a project
    • Intercultural teamwork
    •Utilization of ICT tools for project management and documentation

    Evaluation methods and criteria

    Active participation in teams required.
    70% participation requirement for contact lessons. Attendance is required as the contact lessons are interactive: information is acquired through discussion and activities in the classroom.
    The orientation session is mandatory.

    This is a team project and all assignments require active participation from all team members. All assignments need to be returned as a team . Self and peer feedback evaluation forms are compulsory and completed by all team members in the mid-seminar and final seminar.

    The pass/fail evaluation will be based on the completion of the assignments and the evaluation from the peer feedback.

    Personal feedback will be given on the written assignments and the oral demonstration. Deadlines have been stipulated in the assignments. No feedback will be given for assignments returned late.

    All reports will be checked for plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the report will be failed and will need to be resubmitted. The requirements for assignment returns can be found in the degree regulations.
