Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- analyze current trends in digital services
- develop digital service processes
- manage the digital customer experience
- market digital services
- plan how to use digital sales channels
- use digital tools to support marketing
- apply regulations of digital business

Teaching methods

This is a virtual course, but first lesson is in class-room. The learning platform used in the course is Optima.
The main themes in the course are:
- Digital marketing tools and techniques
- Transformation to digital economy and business
All the assignments are individual
In addition to assignments and quizzes you will accomplish industry certifications.

Location and time

This study unit includes two class-room lessons/ac, otherwise the study unit is online

Learning materials and recommended literature

All the material used is available online. In addition to learning platform material there will be ebooks, articles and videos.

Co-operation with working life and/or RDI

As part of the course the participants will take certification courses offered by acknowledged industry partners.

Important dates

First lesson is in class-room. .
Certifiications can be accomplished any time during the spring. Other parts of the course are open from January to May 2019. The participants can proceed at the own pace as long as the latest return dates (deadlines) are met.

Forms of internationality

The participants will earn internationally acknowledged certificates offered by international organizations.

Students workload

Since the study unit is based on individual tasks and assignments the students are required to manage their own time and work well and independently.
The average estimated time for a student to study the material, do the assignments and take the certification mini-courses offered by an outside organization is 270 hours.

Grading will be based on individual assignments and certifications.
