Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- identify and apply various methods for promoting inclusion.
- utilise various techniques for exerting influence in society.
- act in cooperation with clients and other actors to develop inclusion

Teaching methods

The two main channels of influencing studied on this course will be journalistic methods and active organizing of demonstrative happenings. The course involves excursions.
To complete the course you have to arrange and report a happening in a group and write a text to a newspaper.

In Hyvinkää from the 19th of Aug til the 11th of Oct, more precise timetable in Pakki.

The first meeting on the 21st of Aug, in-between seminar on the 11th of Sep and seminar on the 8th of Oct.

The work load of this course is approximately 135 hours that involves meetings, group work and independent studies. Student's use of time is somewhat related to student's own timetable and own interests.
