Teaching methods
Development project at Laurea Digital Living Lab, Leppävaara. Studies require active participation in customer projects within teams. The coaching is available weekly, on Monday and Thursday afternoons in 247. This way of studying requires entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude and collaboration skills.
Course has two parts: A) development project for customer and B) theory report.
Purpose of A) is to get students familiar with the practical work done in digital development and marketing projects in companies. Purpose of B) is to get students familiar with academic writing and content production. Both of these are planned to increase the skills in demand by companies and hence employability of Laurea graduates.

Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
Group work is real-life digital development project for Laurea's customers&partners. Also, student entrepreneurship can be supported if student wants to advance business idea (e.g. ecommerce as sales agent for external company). We aim to develop Laurea-level digital capabilities and agile way of working as well.

International projects are welcome.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
1. Project work for customers 50% (360 feedback from personal reflection, team members, customer and coaches).
2. Theory report 50% (or other agreed individual work like digital guide in video/brochure/article format - evaluated by coaches)
