Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- distinguish between communication, guidance, counselling, and service coordination
- define theoretical approaches to counselling and analyse the most typical theories in use in counselling
- evaluate their counselling competence and justify their actions when acting as a counsellor
- use the most typical counselling methods in individual, group and community rehabilitation
- select the contact and remote counselling methods suitable for each counselling situation and operating environment
- adapt the counselling methods they use when counselling rehabilitees in different operating environments.
