Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- carry out comprehensive geriatric assessments of elderly customers and assess their ability to function and well-being
- identify factors that threaten the quality of life and ability to function of elderly persons and plan, implement and assess the reduction of risk factors
- support the quality of life and ability to function of elderly persons by applying different guidance methods, evidence-based practices and action models in a customer-based manner
- coordinate services provided to elderly persons in multidisciplinary service networks of social services and health care
- deepen their competence of pharmaceutical care of elderly persons and learn the principles of safe implementation of pharmaceutical care
- assess the impact of the care, daily support and guidance of elderly persons on both individual and social level
