Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- study independently and in groups in a networks and security assignments
- present the results professionally in seminar meetings

Materials

The supporting material will be presented during the introduction to this study unit.

Teaching methods

This is an on-line implementation. The study unit is based on students individually working in their selected research area. Each student writes a research paper on a networks and networks security related topic. The first 3 on-line meetings are mandatory. During these meetings we will discuss the issues in writing a research paper and select the research topics for each student. After this period the students will work individually in their reaserch with the support of the named lecturer of the particular research area. The research papers are presented in Nov-Dec 2020. Evaluation of other students work is a mandatory part in this study unit.

Student workload

Between the introduction at the beginning and the presentations in the end, the students are expected to schedule their individual research work themselves. The support of a named lecturer is available throughout this phase.
