Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- identify the user needs when planning and designing work stations and facilities
- design a workplace concept, which is effective for the company and satisfying for the user
- conduct acquisitions of work stations and facilities together with the customer and end-user
- act in a change process
Location and time
The study unit is held during week 44, in which all 5 days are obligatrory. In addition some pre-assignements, virtual team working and final seminar in December (date will be confimed later) are included.
Teaching methods
The study unit will introduce students to the field of workplace management. In addition the attributes of new ways of working, productivity of knowledge work, mobile work and the effects of space will be studied. These themes are applied in working life context in real life company workplace-case.
Employer connections
The study unit will be completed with a case company. Workplace concepting or development of work life will be essential part of the course.
