Professional Development in Practice II (15 cr)

Learning outcomes

The Student is able to
- apply different health promotion approaches and methods in nursing
- plan, implement and evaluate nursing of patients with long-term illnesses and give support for self-care
- use different guidance methods to support clients’ resources in self-care and life-style changes
- apply the main national and international recommendations for a healthy lifestyle from a client-oriented point of view
- justify the medicines and druggroups used by the main client groups and evaluate the effectiveness of medical treatment
- vaccinate safely
- take advantage of digitalisation in health promotion and nursing of patients with long-term illnesses

2 op toteutuu työpaja ja simulaatio-opetuksena.

Projektityöskentelyssä keskeisenä sisältönä on sähköiset terveyspalvelut ja ohjaaminen.
