Learning outcomes
Students are able to
- apply legislation on environmental management and the most frequently encountered instructions and requirements relating to it
- apply methods for environmental impact identification and assessment
- create and develop and operating models and guidelines for environmental security management

Virtual studies; executed online from March 4, 2019 until May 31, 2019.

Learning material is consisted of:
- Environmental protection legislation in Finnish and European level
- Suitable literature regarding environmental safety management
More information will be given when the study unit begins.
Teaching methods
Virtual studies, including an online implementation in Optima platform. The virtual implementation consists of
- virtual lectures regarding environment safety management
- self-learning regarding environment safety management
- an assignment regarding the given topic
- an online exam
Exam schedules
The exam and submission dates will be published in Optima when the study unit begins. The dates are in relation to the general schedule of the study unit.
