The student is able to
- deepen their understanding of service innovation and design
- acquire and share new knowledge by participating in and analysing the content of scientific and professional seminars, conferences and workshops
- reflect upon their learning and create their own framework around service innovation and design competence

Depending on your personal learning objectives and related themes and topics covered in your blog posts you can choose suitable literature to strengthen your arguments.
Teaching methods
This elective study unit consists of diverse seminars, conferences, workshops and other events in the field of services, innovation, and design.
There are not any contact sessions in this study unit. The instructions can be found on e-learning environment. There is also a discussion forum for questions and further information.
Student workload
One credit equals approximately 26.7 hours of work performed by the student.

Further information
The accomplishment of the study unit requires students' activity to find suitable events, even though there will be some suggestions as well.
This course is for the master degree students only. In this study unit students deepen their knowledge in service innovation and design, thus it is not suitable as a first course of service design if the student does not have any prior knowledge of the topic.
