Learning outcomes
The student is able to:
- describe multidisciplinary rehabilitation, rehabilitation services and the rehabilitation service system in Finland
- define physiotherapy as a profession and field of science, taking into account multicultural starting points
- explain and recognise the societal significance of rehabilitation and the status of physiotherapy as part of the rehabilitation process and the service system
- define the concept of functional ability according to the ICF classification and describe the importance of the client’s motivation and resources in the rehabilitation process
- follow the professional ethics guidelines of a physiotherapist.
