Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- name the structures of the central and peripheral human nervous system and describe the principles of their functioning
- define the key characteristics of muscle contraction and the functioning principles of muscles
- explain and describe structural and nervous factors affecting muscle force production
- explain the primary senses and organ systems affecting the regulation of balance
- define factors affecting the strain of articulated structures
- evaluate the impacts of different biopsychosocial factors on the development of mobility at different ages
- apply the basic principles of motor learning in the guidance of motor skills.
