Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- apply the principles of sustainable business, circular economy, and future leadership in exports
- recognize and describe their significance as competitive factors in exports and articulate the added value and communicate it to customers
- analyze changes in the operating environment and business opportunities opened by legislation
- utilize circular economy business models
- develop and manage sustainable supply chains
- develop sustainable packaging methods
- utilize tools for sustainable business and circular economy development as well as service design
- apply foresight methods in business planning, developing future-oriented innovations, and creating strategies to promote exports

Materials
Self-study materials, including sources and reading recommendations, are published on the Canvas platform for each theme.
Teaching methods
Implementation entirely online in micro-modules. Online workshops in Teams and webinars provide up-to-date expert information. Students are guided to apply what they have learned to their own work and target company through portfolio work and mentoring.
Employer connections
Implementation in close cooperation with working life. The working life sector is involved in the planning and execution of the training as trainers, speakers, and mentors. The training is funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), which is the largest program of the EU’s recovery instrument (Next Generation EU). The funding has been granted by the Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment. The Service Centre promotes the development of skills for the working-age population and the availability of a skilled workforce. The activities of the Service Centre are guided by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
