Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- describe the opportunities, operators and networks in the business environment*
- define the functions, processes and IT systems of an organization
- define the core and supporting processes of an organization
- apply the concept of value chain and customer driven value creation in process development
- assess the financial and operational performance of logistics as part of the supply chain management

Teaching methods
Blended learning
On this course you study mostly online. There are a few meetings at campus and It is compulsory that you attend these classes. There are several exercises, assignments and an exam during the study unit which are structured as modules which are built so that the modules should be done in a chronological order.
Before the first class you will receive an email from me where you get information about the class room where we meet and information about the Canvas platform, where to find it etc. The Canvas platform will be opened before the first class so you have the possibility to have a look at it in beforehand but everything will be explained in the first class 29 Aug.

Student workload
Individual exercises, assignments and an exam according to the time schedule. One team work assignment.
The course platform will be Canvas. .
Proceed through the modules in a chronological order. The course is designed so that you can do quite a lot according to your own time schedule.
However, pay attention to few deadlines for certain assignments. The deadlines are there to structure your work and are to be obeyed because they are connected for the classes where attendance is compulsory.
