Teaching methods
This is the second of three study units in the “Development of Expertise” study module. The study unit includes themes that will be explored both independently and together with a group. You will also have personal PSP (Personal Study Plan) guidance discussions with your teacher tutor (at least once per semester).
Daytime Teaching:
The study unit is supported by a learning environment built in Canvas. It includes scheduled individual and peer work sessions and guidance both on campus and remotely. The study unit requires active participation and commitment to interactive learning. You will receive feedback on your development during peer work and PSP guidance discussions. More detailed instructions can be found in the Canvas workspace.
Time and location
Independent assignments according to teachers guidelines available on Canvas. Students are required to attend in person tutoring sessions.
Learning materials and recommended literature
Tips for supplementary materials have been compiled in the Canvas workspace.
Alternative completion methods of implementation
Not applicable as this study unit is to support students in advancing their studies.
Important dates
The students will enrolled in this study unit by the Student Affairs Office.
Student workload
The workload for the study unit is designed so that acquiring the targeted competencies corresponds to an average of 27 hours of work per credit point. The actual time required may vary among individuals due to prior knowledge and study skills. Please note that independent PSP work is not scheduled in the timetable, so you need to allocate sufficient time for this work yourself.
Content and scheduling
During this study unit, you will structure your expert profile, articulate your competencies, refine your career plan, and assess your study capabilities while setting goals for your skill development. Collaboration with others is essential. The study unit consists of independent PSP (Personal Study Plan) work, peer work and its preparation, as well as PSP guidance discussions with your teacher tutor.
