The student is able to
- Identify and evaluate key technologies driving digital transformation in the healthcare industry and analyse the impact of digital transformation on healthcare delivery, patient care, and organizational processes
- Apply principles of health informatics to support data-driven decision-making in healthcare organizations and assess the opportunities and challenges associated with electronic health records implementation
- Explain the role of telemedicine in improving access to healthcare services and patient outcomes
- Utilise data analytics techniques to derive insights from healthcare data and drive informed decision-making
- Develop strategies for effectively engaging patients in their healthcare through digital tools and platforms considering the ethical and privacy related to the use of digital technologies in healthcare
- Design and propose a digital transformation plan for a healthcare organization, considering organizational readiness, technology selection, and change management
