Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- calculate medication doses correctly
- provide safe medication and fluid therapy for pregnant or nursing women, children, and elderly people in different nursing environments

Teaching methods

Medication calculation is recap in orientation and workshop. Medication Treatment theory student is going to study independently in Canvas and also in lectures.

Calculation exam

You can retake exam twice. Failure to participate in the actual exam is counted as one attempt. After 2nd retake, you can retake the exam at the Calculation clinic, which are organized at Porvoo campus.
