Materials
The recommended material will be given at the seminars.
The library in Otaniemi contains books which are useful for explaining your method.
The articles chosen for the thesis (literature review or development work) will be found online through the nursing data bases.
Teaching methods
Thesis will be done in pairs.
There will be monthly seminars where the students can receive guidance from teachers.
In addition it is highly recommended for the students to utilize the help of these clinics:
-Writing clinics (organized in English)
-Information retrieval workshops (organized in English)
-Method workshops (available in English also)
Employer connections
The thesis work will be done in close relationship with working life /Laurea University of Applied Sciences. The thesis is part of developing working life practices.
Completion alternatives
The students will be working in pairs, on their own following the given instructions and applying them. The thesis process also includes teacher's supervision.
