Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- communicate in oral and written Swedish in work life situations in their own sector at least at proficiency level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and at the level required under section 7 of the Government Decree on Universities of Applied Sciences (1129/2014)
- tell about studies and work experience in social services, discuss the situations of different target groups and meet clients in a variety of different situations in social services
- use the key Swedish-language social services terminology used by professionals
- develop their interaction, communication, information search and reporting skills in Swedish in professional situations in the social services sector
- develop their professional language skills by using different types of learning techniques and tools
