Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- describe the principles of family-centred and child-oriented therapy
- assess the psychomotor development and functional ability of children and adolescents and identify growth related abnormalities
- assess the effects that the most typical musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases as well as mental and neurological disorders can have on the functional ability and development of children and adolescents
- deepen their competence in physiotherapeutic assessment and clinical reasoning when working with children and adolescents
- apply appropriate methods of interaction, research, guidance, therapeutic exercise and applied physical activity that promote the functional ability and health of children and adolescents
- use digital solutions suitable for the physiotherapy of children and adolescents.
