Exam schedules
Based on the Degree Regulations (2024), students accepted into the course are required to confirm their participation by demonstrating activity at the beginning of the course as follows:
To confirm their participation, students must either attend the first contact session in person or inform the responsible instructor of their absence. If a student does not report their absence from the first session or if the reason for the absence is not considered valid, their registration will be canceled. Another student may then be given their place.

Attendance is mandatory for all contact sessions in the course.

Completion alternatives
According to the Degree Regulations (2024), "students have the right to apply for recognition of prior learning, regardless of where, how, or when the knowledge and skills were acquired. ... At Laurea, the recognition and accreditation of prior learning are implemented through two distinct procedures: a) credit transfer (recognition of competencies acquired in studies at another higher education institution) and b) skills demonstration (recognition of competencies acquired through other means). The initiative to recognize and accredit prior learning must be made by the student. It is the student's responsibility to demonstrate and verify their competencies." Additional information on credit transfers and skills demonstrations can be found on the student intranet.
To acquire new competencies, you can also consider the possibility of academic accreditation of work experience. Read more about this process on the student intranet.
Student workload
The workload for the course is designed so that acquiring the competencies targeted by the course requires an average of 26.7 hours of student work per credit. The actual time needed may vary individually, depending on factors such as prior knowledge and skills.

Further information
Opinto on vaatimuksiltaan amk-tutkintoon johtavan koulutuksen tasoa.
Opinnon toteutustapa on arvoitu hyödyntäen opetuksen laatukriteereitä. Itsearviointi on opiskelijan nähtävillä esim. Canvasissa tai Teamsissa.
