Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- understand extended speech in health care context
- interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with patients and their significant others
- take an active part in professional discussion with colleagues
- read newspaper articles and academic reports about contemporary problems
- present a clear, detailed description on a wide range of subjects related to nursing
- write a clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects related to nursing

In case the student has already shown Finnish skills of level B1.1-B1.2 it is possible to complete the course by written and oral assignments.
