The student is able:

- to compile and apply concepts, designs and methods of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research
- to assess and evaluate qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research as a research user
- to plan, implement and assess qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods in development and research projects
Teaching methods
By participating in online and blended learning session and the SPSS-workshop at Tikkurila campus the student is gaining competences according to which
The student is able:

• to assess and evaluate qualitative, quantitative and mixed
methods research as a research user
• to plan, implement and assess qualitative, quantitative and

The main learning method applied in this study unit is the Five stages and e-tivity model of Gilly Salmon.
