Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- describe different leadership phenomena and trends and reflect them in practical management work
- use the principles of a coaching approach to leadership
- take diversity into account in the workplace

Teaching methods

The overall aim is to study phenomena and trends in leadership and management in today`s working life.
The course is carried out with various learning methods, for example lectures, learning circles, visitors, visits, media follow-up, desk drawer research, surveys and interviews. In teams of 2-3 persons, students will write papers in which they address their own viewpoints to the theme. Excellent papers can possibly be published in Laurea Journal.

Possibility to prove competency by relevant experience.

Starting on 1 March 2022 at Tikkurila campus, participation compulsory.
Schedule in Pakki/Tuudo.

Further information for students

At the starting session, we will decide how many lectures will be held in classroom and how many remotely.
