- johtaa tapahtuman toteutusprosessin tavoitteellisesti
- arvioida tapahtumaa eri näkökulmista (tavoitteet, taloudellisuus, toimivuus, asiakastyytyväisyys) ja luoda aktiivisesti uusia kehitysideoita
Teaching methods
The Event Management studies basic study unit which fullfills theory part as practical implemantation. During this study unit we will establish an event according to companys guidelines.
Basic theory required to be studied beforehand.
Learning materials and recommended literature
Same basic material as Event Basics study unit. Now we just turn the theory into practice.
Alternative completion methods of implementation
Laurea's HOT procedure. Check from Intra.
Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
Study unit is established together with real charity partner.

Actual event days will be confirmed later according to event confirmation.
IMPORTANT: Some of the dates will chance due the event.
Student workload
5 ECT = 135 hours work for students.
Lots of team work required.
We will go through the timing & work load at first meeting.
Content and scheduling
Event project planning phase and actual project plan (incl. budgeting), Marketing and communication plan 40 %
Master plan, other event documentation and the actual event day(s) 40%
Event evaluation & Peer evaluation & reporting 20 %
