Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- recognize his/her stress factors
- improve his/her stress management skills
- improve his/her skills in carrying out studies and graduate in time
- manage his/her thesis angst and minimize barries
Location and time
The sessions are regularly held at Laurea Tikkurila on Mondays and Laurea Leppävaara on Fridays. You can participate one session a week in the campus most convenient to you regardless your home campus.
It is very important for you to participate the first session to plan the details of your study conduction and your PSP:

E-tests and analysis of the results in the teams.
Teaching methods
Stress Tolerance -study unit is addressed primarily to the 3. and 4. year students, who may face stress in their study conduction, thesis planning or writing and in work placements.
Contact sessions are mainly held in class rooms and in visiting places ( Winter Garden, art gallery, Chapel of Silence).
Canvas learning space is used.
There are some online sessions, too.
Employer connections
The Stress Tolerance - study unit is open for all international and Finnish students at Laurea. Groups are multicultural. Networking with fellow students and shared stories are a big learning outcome of the study unit.

This is an international and multicultural learning environment and we learn from one another in interactive practices.

Active participation in sessions according to one's personal study plan.
All assignments done according to the instruction.
