Materials
The material used will be announced at the beginning of the study unit.
Teaching methods
The study unit is available on-line. There may (depending on the situation with Covid-19) be an option to do some of the excercises at Laurea Leppävaara campus. Participation to the on-line lectures, discussions and group work is expected.
Student workload
The student is expected to be able schedule his/her work according to the the schedule of the study unit implementation. Approving any late work is in the lecturer's discretion.

- IP networks (subnetting and supernetting. Manual calculation of IP subnets).
- Configuring switches and routers - basics.
- ISO/OSI network protocol model and networks security.
- IP networks security issues.
- IPv6 and IoT security issues.
- Wireless and mobile networking security issues.
- Clouds and content delivery networks and their security.
