Learning outcomes

The students will be able to
analyse the basis of decision-making in a multidisciplinary team in clinical nursing
describe nurses’ responsibilities and obligations in assessing the need for and urgency of care
make decisions by using methods of clinical examination of the patient, care need assessment, digital decision aids and consultation
recognise changes that threat vital functions and plan, implement and evaluate clinical nursing procedures that support vital functions
explain the main illnesses and injuries in the field of surgery and the medical grounds for care
describe the different fields of anaesthesiology and the different anaesthesia forms
plan, carry out and evaluate perioperative nursing
justify the practices and medicines used advanced life support
plan, implement and evaluate administration of intravenous medication, infusions and nutrition

Re-takes for acute care exam on general examination days in March and April.
Re-takes for infusions & transfusions exam on general examination days April and May
Re-takes for perioperative nursing theory April and May
Medication calculations must be passed before the practice III.
