Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- assess the compliance with legislation of cosmetics products and labelling, and draw up legal labels for cosmetics packaging
- follow the development of EU legislation and the dissemination of information on the safety of ingredients that underlies this process, and draw on this knowledge in duties in the beauty care sector
- assess the significance for product safety of other legislation concerned with cosmetics in addition to EU regulation
