The student is able to
- describe the different economic, social and ecological factors and megatrends affecting the global economy*
- explain the structure of the economy and the different economic policies in a global framework
- describe the history and drivers of international trade
- identify international actors in the global economy

*The verb 'recognize' has been replaced effective 1st of August 2024.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Evaluation
The study unit will be evaluated based on your exam results, the circular economy- assignment and the country report. The country report will be created in teams.
Your activity during the course will get you up to 15 % of total points
1. Circular economy-assignment max 10 points
2. Exam max 45 points (20+25)
3. Country Report max 30 points
4. Activity points, based on attendance and assignments 15 points
Deadlines are to be followed. Participation in the team presentation session is an important part of sharing and co-learning. Absense, even partial, will decrease your report points (individually).
The assignment specific assessment criteria will be specified in the instructions

Excellent 81 - 100 p
Very good 71 - 80 points
Good 61 - 70 points
Very satisfactory 51 - 60 points
Satisfactory 41 - 50 points
Failed 0 - 40 points
