plan, implement and evaluate nursing and health promotion in different nursing environments and/or projects
act as a developer of services in nursing
communicate in the Finnish language presenting the reference level B1 of the The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Toteutustapa

This studyunit is done in Clinical Practice.
Each student is to book via Jobiili a practice placement for them in an environment that is suitable for them.

Aika ja paikka

This studyunit is implemented during spring 2018 - autumn 2018.
Time is flexible, depending of the student's owe schedule.

1credit is 27 hours of work in clinical placement.

For proper guidance before and after placemnt, attandence during orientation and reflection is compulsary. If a student is absent, they will have to do the hours during placement.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Clinical Practice is evaluated PASS / FAIL.
The clinical practice placement's nurse mentor gives her /his recommendations, and according to those recommendations, the teacher facilitaor in co-operation with the student and nurse mentor makes the assessment of pass / fail.
The assessment is done according to the clinical placements rules, student's goals for the placement as well as against the study unit goals. Further information is available in Optima - Degree Clinical Practice - file.
A failed practice must be redone.
