Teaching methods
V1552 Improving Your Study Skills and Finding Your Strengths is addressed to the first and second year degree students who have challenges in study motivation and learning.
Mainly contact sessions, which are held at Laurea Tikkurila on Mondays and at Laurea Leppävaara on Fridays.
It is very important to participate the first session:
Laurea Tikkurila on Monday 14.1. at 9.00 - 11.30. Room AB400.
Laurea Leppävaara on Friday 18.1. at 12.30 - 15.30. Room 244 ( not a class, but a nice room)
You can participate the session at the campus most convenient to you. Virtual channels are also used to enhance your study progress.We also pay study visits to "relaxing" places.
Location and time
Optima has a learning space with material and links. No pre-work or assignment is requested before the the first session.
It is important that everybody participates the first session, because we plan all the details of the study contents and learnin methods according to your needs.
Learning materials and recommended literature
Especially for the first year students it is highly educational to participate the contact sessions. By request, you may have an optional way to conduct the studies.
