Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- utilise personal creativity and resources in client work.
- use creative and functional working methods while working with various clients.

Teaching methods

The course consists of contact teaching which include the following parts:

1. Creative methods as tools for communication and empowerment within the context of social services
2. Gaining personal experience on different creative methods such as visual arts, drama and music
3. Inclusion and participation of clients

Learning materials and recommended literature

The course material will be prodided in the beginning of the course.

The study unit is suitable for exchange students.

Further information for students

The student is expected to attend at least 80% of the contact lessons.

Evaluation methods and criteria

The course is evaluated PASS-FAIL.

In this study unit the assessing of the competences will be done by using the criteria set for requirement level I.

To pass the course the student is expected to work as a member of the team, work safely and in accordance with the professional code of conduct, follow the provided instructions and rules, gather information and use their knowledge basis, reflect and report in the agreed manner, search information in different sources.
