Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- apply the principles of Object-Orientation programming
- design Object-Oriented applications using standard modeling methods
- use functionality from off-the-shelf libraries when developing an own application

Teaching methods

Course teaches the main concepts and techniques of Object-oriented programming.
Contents:
- Basics of OOP
- Eclipse IDE
- Event based GUI programming
- Databases and programming

Students workload

Course is implemented as blended learning. About 50% of the meetings are held in classrooms and other half is held online in Adobe Connect. Student has to be able to spend time studying outside sessions.
