Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- recognize his/her stress factors
- improve his/her stress management skills
- improve his/her skills in carrying out studies and graduate in time
- manage his/her thesis angst and minimize barries

Teaching methods

Stress Tolerance -study unit is addressed primarily to the 3. and 4. year students, who may face stress in study conduction and thesis and in work placements.
Contact sessions mainly in class rooms and in visiting places ( Winter garden, art gallery).
Optima learning space
Some online sessions, too.

Location and time

The sessions are regularly held at Laurea Tikkurila on Mondays and Laurea Leppävaara on Fridays. You can participate the campus most concenient to you, one session a week, regardless your home campus.
It is very important to participate the first session to plan the details and your PSP:
Laurea Tikkurila on Monday 11.3. at 9.00 - 11.30. Class AB400.
Laurea Leppävaara on Friday 15.3. at 12.30 - 15.00. Class 258.

The Stress Tolerence is open for all international students at Laurea, and groups are multicultural. Networking with fellow students.

Further information

The study unit will be offered for the last time in the autumn semester 2023. A renewed version, TO00BC37 Stress Management, will replace the study unit starting in spring semester 2024.
