Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- apply the legislation and the most common instructions and requirements on emergency preparedness according to the operations of organisations
- use various risk assessment methods in identifying and assessing accident risks
- create and introduce emergency plans and related documents and plans that support the core aims and the different organisational levels of a company
- monitor and assess the level of emergency preparedness in the organisation and develop it

Teaching methods

Contact sessions and client project
If the student selects Physical Security-study unit as well, the client project can be completed in the same place; optional project days 22.3 and 27.3 overlapping doesn't therefore prevent participating in both study units.
